NW Staffing Resources is hiring an outgoing and driven outside sales professional to join the Clackamas team as the Account Executive. LOCATION: Clackamas, OR (Located on Sunnybrook Blvd.).
• Company-paid parking is offered.
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm.
• Potential for a hybrid work schedule of four days per week in office, one day remote, depending on branch performance.
SALARY & BENEFITS: $53,000 to $63,000/year DOE base salary, plus commission.
• Commissions are paid on both new business and growth of existing clients.
• No cap, no draw on salary, and no waiting period for bi-weekly commission payments.

THE ROLE
The Account Executive is responsible for new business development through outside sales initiatives, maintaining client relationships, and meeting budgeted sales goals within the Clackamas office’s expansive territory. A successful Account Executive must have a strong sales background, exceptional customer service skills, be driven to meet and exceed goals, and have great organizational and multi-tasking skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Make cold calls and prospect calls to potential clients via phone and in-person to schedule appointments and give presentations of services.
• Negotiate pricing contracts and conversions in partnership with the Branch Manager.
• Build and maintain client relationships through strong customer service and communication.
• Detailed tracking and recording of sales process and displaying understanding of industry and competitive landscape to assist with meeting and exceeding financial goals.
• Work closely with Recruiters to maximize branch efforts, assisting with recruiting and administrative tasks, as needed.
SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES
• 2+ years of business-to-business sales experience, with direct staffing industry experience strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service and/or human resources experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent and professional communication skills – verbal and written.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to harness financial data to make informed decisions to achieve client needs.
• Valid Driver’s License, proof of car insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required for regular travel to businesses.
• High school diploma is required. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check upon acceptance of an offer.
