Summer Spotlight: Events Happening in and around Portland

At NW Staffing we value being a part of the communities that we work in. Since summer is in full swing- we thought we’d take a moment to share some of our favorite things that are happening in and around our cities!

Portland: The Rose Festival and twilight parade. Portland is known as the City of Roses and we don’t take that lightly. The Festival holds over 60 events beginning in late May through the second weekend in June. Many of these events are fun for the whole family and are a great way to experience all the beauty of early summer in Portland!

 Beaverton: Beaverton’s Saturday Farmers Market kicks off in May and goes through the summer months. Connect with local vendors, purchase fresh produce and enjoy live musical performances!

Clackamas: If Renaissance is your thing—the Clackamas County Event Center holds the Oregon Renaissance Faire the second and third weekend of June. Enjoy period food, music and of course a good jousting!

Vancouver: Experience Independence Day with a bang at the historic Fort Vancouver. There are fireworks and space for you to enjoy a picnic dinner while you wait for the twilight show to begin!
